Level 3 General Science (UE Lit - R/W)
Option Description

This Level 3 Science course continues to explore the world of chemistry and earth science and is an entrance pathway for tertiary education courses for students that prefer an internal assessment pathway. The recommended course includes Chem 3.2, Chem 3.7, ESS 3.2 and ESS 3.3 which meets requirements for university entrance. However, students may opt into US 2990 (preparation for the research assessments) or Chem 3.3 on ocean acidification.

Level 2 Biology, Level 2 Chemistry, Level 2 Physics or HOD Approval

Only students engaged in learning and achievement derived from Te Marautanga o Aotearoa are eligible to be awarded these subjects as part of the requirement for 14 credits in each of three subjects.
