In Year 10 students undertake a compulsory programme of study in Health and Physical Education.
Topics covered in Health include:
- Exploring Substances - Students are guided through a program highlighting the dangers and pressures of drug use and abuse. Drugs covered include Alcohol, Tobacco, Vaping, Cannabis, Methamphetamine and Ecstasy. Students are taught about risky situations and assertive behaviours to maintain safety.
- Relationships - Students will cover a range of topics through the use of a resource called Navigating the Journey.
