In the course "Empire Strikes Back," you'll explore the key aspects of empires throughout history, focusing on their rise, dominance, and eventual decline. We will delve into prominent empires, including the Roman Empire and the Persian Empire, examining their governance, culture, military strategies, and impacts on society. Through a combination of historical analysis and case studies, you'll gain insights into the factors that contribute to the success and failure of empires, as well as their lasting legacies.
You will complete a mix of Classical Studies standards and History standards.

Any level 2 Social Sciences course (2SS), or with HOD approval.
